For over 20 years he served as Clinical Coordinator for the Southern California Counseling Center and was a supervisor for the Hollywood-Sunset Community Clinic, the L.A. Bridges Program and the South Bay Human Service Center. |

| Although tattoo removal is important, we have learned through personal and professional experience that changing the outside of a package doesn't change what is inside. We work to make the client feel safe in talking about the unspeakable. Issues of hurt and pain from childhood and young adulthood can have a life long affect on the client. Our counselors are trained in "collaborative counseling" and want the client to set the pace of the session. Our counselors are sensitive to cultural differences and respect each individual for their ability to survive in a society that does not value their differences. Our goal is not to end gang membership. Our goal is to end the cycle of violence that is the natural consequence of oppression. Our staff represents both the privileged and the oppressed and we are learning from each other. Class is a very real issue in this society and it is when the classes meet that true change happens. Those that can help do. Those that need the help get support. We have a vision that our clients will no longer feel that it is more likely that they will go to prison or die young than to go to college. |
